Due to a family emergency, Susan Jones will not be speaking on Washington Lands. Instead, local historian Gary Rider has stepped in and will be discussing his newest book, a history of the Marx Toy Factory. Come learn the fascinating story of this local icon, from its early beginnings, shift in production during World War II, through its final closing.

Come and enjoy our free lunch-and-learn series, Hungry for History, hosted by the Marshall County Historical Society at the Cockayne Farmstead. All presentations are outdoors on Thursdays at noon.
