What's a goat raffle? It's exactly what it sounds like. To support our preservation efforts at the Cockayne Farmstead, we're raffling a goat!

Sure, you can buy a ticket for yourself, but you can also buy a ticket for someone else! Put their name and address on the ticket and we'll send them a letter letting them know they've been entered to win their very own goat! But not to worry, if they'd like to have their name withdrawn, they'll be able to purchase "Goat Insurance" with a small donation!

All proceeds benefit preservation efforts and educational events at the Cockayne Farmstead. This unique resource has been called one of the most unique historic sites in the state and with your help we can make sure it's here to tell our community's story for generations to come.

Tickets will be $2 each and can be purchased at the Cockayne Farmstead at 1105 Wheeling Ave., Glen Dale during any open hours or at any of our events until July 10. The winner will be drawn Saturday, July 10.
