If you'd love to give volunteering at the Cockayne Farmstead a try, here is your chance!

The Farmstead’s Site Manager, Kara Gordon, will host a Volunteer Tour Training on Saturday, April 17 from 10am-noon. This training is open to all current Cockayne volunteers as well as any new volunteers who are interested in learning how to give tours of the farmhouse. No commitment is required and no experience is necessary!

This short workshop will teach you the information needed to give a tour of the farmhouse and will also explore how to make a tour interesting and build your confidence when introducing the public to the Cockayne story. This workshop will be helpful to tour guides with previous experience as well, as our tour is constantly evolving to reflect new discoveries made in the house and new advances in scholarship.
