Take a walking tour of Moundsville’s oldest cemetery and learn about some of the notable historical characters buried there. From famous mothers to military heroes this walking tour will point out the final resting places of a diverse selection of Marshall County residents who helped form and shape the Marshall County of today. Local historian and writer Gary Rider will lead this fascinating look at Moundsville’s prominent ancestors.

PLEASE NOTE, this presentation will take place at Mount Rose Cemetery and will involve standing and walking on uneven terrain. Parking will be available throughout the cemetery.
