Bring your lunch and join us at the Cockayne Farmstead every other Thursday from 12:00-1:00 pm throughout the Summer to listen to local experts speak on various local history topics. Enjoy the nice weather, interesting speakers, and snacks and refreshments provided by the Cockayne Farmstead. Attendance is free and open to the public.
Holly McCluskey, the Curator of Glass at the Museums of Oglebay Institute, will present on the history of the glass industry in Wheeling and how it shaped the history of our area. See a display of some of the beautiful glass pieces owned by the Cockayne family.
