Bring your lunch and join us at the Cockayne Farmstead every other Thursday from 12:00-1:00 pm throughout the Summer to listen to local experts speak on various local history topics. Enjoy the nice weather, interesting speakers, and snacks and refreshments provided by the Cockayne Farmstead. Attendance is free and open to the public.
Cockayne Farmstead's Preserve WV AmeriCorps member, Ian Gray, will present a history of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in Marshall County. Learn how this railroad affected the Cockayne farm and how it played a part in the restoration of the historic house.
